Butterfly Stretch

Definition: A yoga-inspired stretch to increase flexibility in the hips and inner thighs. The butterfly stretch is performed in a seated position on the floor. The legs are bent to the sides with the soles of the feet held together with the hands.

To perform the stretch, pull your heels toward you while pushing your knees toward the floor. Hold the stretch for 30 seconds.
